how can my friend fight for her right?

Today, the coffee time which one of my friend have worked for about 4 months closed because of the bad business. She hasn't gotten her salary for one and a half months. She is afraid that she can't get her salary. Because the boss who is from Taiwan always delayed the employees' salary. It is said that the boss is applying for the bankruptcy. If this boss succeeded in applying for the bankruptcy, he would pay nothing including the employees' salary. My friend is anxious very much. She doesn't know how to do to get her salary. I can't believe that there is so bad people like that boss in Canada. In fact, this boss is very rich. He has a big house in the rich area and two new cars. Maybe he doesn't want to pay money, so he wants to apply for bankruptcy. How terrible Canada is! Please help my friend.
