The email attachment is not very clear, but the fingeprints were probalby rejected for any or all of the following reasons:

- The ink is uneven on the prints,
- The fingerprints are smudged
- We cannot see the ridgle detail of the prints

We recommend that fingers should be cleaned properly and well dryed before the fingerprints are taken. It is also recommended to use black ink. And the individual prints (in the boxes) should be rolled from nail edge to nail edge (left to right). We need the print of the whole finger end from end to first joint under the nail.

In some cases clear fingerprints cannot be taken due to damaged skin, caused by scars, skin diseases (eczema), employment or aging. If any of these apply to you, have the official that is taking your prints attach a letter with your application explaining the condition of the skin.
