I bought a brand new ACURA 1.6, black color, 2000 year model from ACURA Richmond last December. There I suspect was the problem in car painting now, there were many small spots and marks inside the painting, You can not take off most of those things by the car wash liquid, you still can see the dirty marks inside painting even though you take off some of them. I dealed with ACURA Richmond, they said this is because of the environmental factors. I suspect what they said and also found the similar problem in another car occasionally one day, whose car plat number is HWT241, I am not sure the owner of this HWT240 is aware of this problem or not. I guess the same problem will happen in another ACURA 1.6, black color, 2000-year model, because this black color is new in only 2000 year. Please check your car if you bought this model car.
