Is J2EE promising in Toronto?

We need some serious feedbacks on the above topic.

I've seen some discussion about job market for Java developers in Canada. It was good, it is not so good, but I am still not clear.

In Singapore, when we talk about Java, we are talking about building large scale e-commerce systems using Java technologies, such as Internet banking, Internet trading, B2B and so on. Normally, companies will either choose Java/CORBA or J2EE more recently as the backbone. Take J2EE for example, we will have Servlet/JSP(Strusts) at web tier, EJB(Weblogic) at the application server tier and connect to DB. Now in Singapore, seems everybody in Internet industry are working on J2EE.

So, can anyone familiar with the Internet domain give some more serious introduction at this side?

Thanks,
