Today I bought a Lexmark All-in-One printer/copier/scanner Z82 from Sams Club, $139+Tax. It was not Windows XP compatible! The software for Win95/98/Me could not be installed under XP. From their website, there is no driver for XP. I took long time to download the driver for Win 2000 (8M), which was not included in the CD-ROM. I installed it despite the warning from XP. The printer worked. But I could not figure out the driver for the scanner function. No information from their website. No answer from the Technical Support. I know I made a mistake to choose the wrong brand and wrong type. Z82 is out of date. I decide to return it tomorrow and change a HP one.
