I think the author of the article try to explain the characters of individual is more important than the other background. Since you don't know me before, you just make imprudent ideas base on your own experience, I don't think that would be helpful for youself. May be you have a good time in Canada, that will not mean something to those people struggling in China, and also, that is meaningless to the people here.
