drunker, u did not get my point. its not about chinese culture being part of whole multi-cultures. also number of immigrants is not exactly the same as power of the group.

my point is how to make it more home-like for mainland chinese -- look, there is not really a mandarin TV station, 99% if not 100% chinese supermarkets are cantonese or the like, etc, etc. basically most chinese styles here in toronto are cantonese oriented, which can take time and effort for mainland chinese, especially northern folks to get used to (yet still not feeling homey :))....yeah, i know, it takes time and people to build. but people come and go easily, either leaving for US of A or back to China. so when would the (pseudo-)home be built? -- that can be a question. :)
