not to encourage you to get the license doesn't mean not to allow you to. Once you get doctor's license, you have to work in a hospital for a while before you can set up your own clinic.

Even the local graduates have to compete for the limited seats in the hospitals, so it's up to your medical competency. It's a fair system to anyone. As long as you can prove yourself, you won't be turned down. We live in an era with flooding Doctor's and Master's degrees. A degree doesn't mean anything to the community unless you show off your value. 20 years ago, a college graduate was priceless in China. Now, a college degree doesn't mean much. Can we claim China is wasting so many college graduates now? Probably not. Pretty soon, China will be overflooded by Doctor's and Master's too. So, work on your competency, not just your degrees. Just my two cents.
