1. registration for both airlines (online registration for example)
2. purchase UA tickets when travelling
3. tell the travel agent your AIR CANADA(AEROPLAN) ACCOUNT NUMBER at ticket purchasing
4. make sure your AEROPLAN MEMBER NUMBER on the air ticket
5 recheck with UA service staff with the fact that you are AEROPLAN member: you will see your AEROPLAN # on your boardind cards
6. keep all the boarding card slips and air flight ticket copies.
7. after returning back CANADA, claim your mileage with UA by telephone(you only need to follow the steps of claiming your mileage thru telephone). you can get the telephone and address of how to claim your mileage on UA website. Attention: probalbly, they will ask you to send the copies of your tickects and boarding card. Don't worry about your AEROPLAN NUMBER on your boarding card and airline tickets, just send to them.
