Regarding Jabber's gender

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛It is a pleadure for me to make so many friends in this forum. Today I wish to clear something unimportant---my gender.

I am a male. I hope this will not create any more confusion among friends. For some historical reasons, I have been mistaken as a lady.
I think this should become history.

Some time ago, a few friends made some very extreme comments on female programmer's professional level. I felt it unfair and argued for those competent female programmers. I played a small trick and some friends mistook me as a lady. I apologize before those friends who were misled by me. I think I should wind up this joke. If I continue to pretend to be dumb, I should be blamed on.

The English proverb I like most is "Not all that glitters is gold". It is always right. I don't like those too general but not inaccurate statements. For instance,
1) Female programmers are not as strong as male programmers; 2)
Chinese programmers are very good; 3) Those who transmitted from
other walks into IT industry jeopardized Chinese programmer's reputation in Canada..... people can easily enumerate counter examples towards the above inaccurate statements.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
