I got my first license in Montreal when I worked there, and continued using it after move to Toronto by using my friend's address to deal with licensing office and insurance company over there. There was no such 2 class licensing crap in Ontario back then, I did it for insurance purpose, after my friend move to States I had to switch to Ontario license and my premium suddenly went tripled.
