get a Ultra 10 around 1000CDN. You can get CPU300MHZ,CD,256MB,4G,100Mbit Ethernet. It's enough to run Solaris 8 and Oracle 8i/9beta. If you think it's not powerful enough,you can upgrade memory/IDE HD later by yourself. It compatiable with most of PC parts.
