The date you landed in Toronto reminds me the date i entered my current company, exactly the same day.

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I landed in Toronto last year at the end of May, and I spent almost one month travelling and settling down. After that I spent another month looking for job until I found my first job-as a jewery sales in a jewery chain store. But just one week after, I was pursaded by the GM of my current company to join their company as a marketing assistant. Believe me, at first i really didn't want to change my job b/c this position pays no more than the first job I got and I'm not that interested in working in a Hongkongese-run company.

Now six months have past since I joined this company, although I've experienced some tough time, such as working at weekend without pay, or travel long distance to different work place without a car, today, all the hard work has been paid-off. I got a rise of 50% on my salary, which is way beyond my expectation. Now my wage is more than 30k a year, and i am not an IT professional, I only landed here for less than 8 months and I haven't got any overseas academic or working background before I came here.

So believe me friends, if only you keep your optimissim and lead your life in your own way i/o relying on other's viewpoint, life in Toronto is for sure not so tough at all.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
