Your message reminded me of a story I read long time ago.
When a interviewer asked Brazil soccer "king" (pronounced as Beili, sorry I don't know how to spell his name in English) if his son would be a soccer star later, he said "No, because he lacks one thing which is necessary to become a soccer star -- poverty". Maybe that is why the first immigration generation is more aggresive than the second generation, sometimes even more aggresive than most natives.
