If you do want to get a Chinese license, make sure the date of license is at least 2 years old. Otherwise it's of no use. I got a genuine license before coming here,

but the date is only 6 month ago (I didn't know the regulations). Finally it didn't help me at all. I had to wait 1 year after the written test to attend the G1 road test.
