1. I have a feeling that the China Town is not my place at all...I have been to many China Towns (SF, LA, NY, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgray, Edmonton, maybe more in the future), but I never felt I was at home a time. They are out-dated, dirty, stores with narrow aisles...you know what, I think the only reason people go there is: CHEAP, erything is cheap: goods are cheap, services are cheap, people are cheap.
Why should we chinese people be considered cheap? That is not fair! Just because some cheap people doing cheap things in the cheap China Town? (who knows if we should call it china own or not!)
You are right, people consider us as Chinese people regardless you are working or shoping chinatown or not, but why should we let people look down upon us? NO! I am chinese, but I am not among those who destroyed our graceful face! That is why I said it is a shame to our real chinese people.
2. I doubt the people there are working hard to make it better! actually, what I say told me thar they are just renting that place without caring about it, I bet that idea is the main idea to them! But doing business is not just grabbing money from other people's pocket, to my understanding, business means SERVICEs, we call work hard to SERVE people, that is our salary for.
3. If you cannot change something(who can? only God), you better keep away from it. I know I have no ability to change anything, so I like to choose other places to go unless I have no place to go.
4. I dont really want to discuss this issue here, this is my longest post ever since I came here, BBS is a good place, Rolia is a good place in BBS, I dont what to mislead anybody by what I said here.
