Jabber's English Note---065

In Chinese language, we have a famous saying to describe the following phonomena. Some people own a lot of debts and borrow the money from the secod person to re-imbourse the first, then from third to compensate the secod....

In English, there are similar idioms. Surprisingly, it is so simple: I don't want to rob Peter to pay Jerry. If we are doing a project with Sailor and Ji-Ang and some people suggest asking Sailor to join Ji-Ang, I may refuse this way: No, no, we cannot rob Sailor to pay Ji-Ang. What I mean is that Sailor has his own duty and we cannot re-assign him without much consideration.
