Don't narrow youself in Cisco, which is just one kind of product of many other telecom devices. In Canada, no company will be interested in someone just according to his certificate. The key for a job is how could you show off your knowledge by English.

If your English is good as well as your technology, you could find a job sooner or later. Furthermore, Cisco is laying off employee right now. As a new comer, finding a job in cisco is almost impossible.
