Think about Dell which is relatively cost effective, while IBM ThinkPad is no doubt the luxurious one with the best erformance. it's easy for you to find the price on their Web sites.

I had used IBM ThinkPad for 3 years, and have been using Dell since 1999. on my personal opinion, I NEVER use Japanese products. so I have no idea on those noteook made in Japan.
