A diehard is a person who is very sticky at things. For instance, in the Chinese programmers in Canada, there are some Windows diehards. These people grew up with Windows and love everything from Microsoft. In their eyes, MS SQL server is the most powerful and user-friendly database servers in the world, and Visual Basic is the most beautiful programming langauge created ever. As for Java, it is deemed as a piece of shit from Sun Microsystem.

Likewise, there are some Linux diehards in the United States. These people are so enthusiastic in Linux operating systems. They hate Miscrosoft every much.

I use Microsoft operating systems, but I am not a Microsoft diehard.
I am a Java programmer, but I am not a Java diehard because I believe that Java is not a good solution to many problems.

However, I am a desktop diehard because I am too used to playing at desktop. I feel very uncomfortable at using a laptop, because I like to use external mouses. But I don't think I am an external mouse diehard,
because a mouse is something that nobody would like to "die hard" for it.

Well, are you a Ford diehard or a Toyota diehard?
