Hi, about one and half year ago i also had this kind of experience , which is full of struggling emotion. Immigration to Canada is another choice of life , and now i can say if you wish to have another kind of life and new experience, and have the courage of
overcoming problems and sound English communicaiton skills , you will not feel disapointed in the end.
You may prepare enough money for about 6 months living cost and come here by yourself first , and try your best to find a job.
Your wife can stay in China since the baby is too tiny. When you find a job, all things will be perfect. But before coming here, i do suggest you make a job research via the internet, and find out what field is hot in the market and fits your skills and potentiality at the same time.
Frankly speaking i don't think Canada is the heaven, and every society has its own problems, but it really can provide you the opportunity of leaning new stuff.
