I would suggest you six families sign a kind of agreement (in english) stating you are shipping your belongings together to save cost. when consignee clear customs in canada, show the agreement to the officer and I believe the officer will not make trouble to you. DON'T SPLIT BILL OF LADING, IT'S TROUBLESOME AND DOESN'T WORTHWHILE. good luck.
