Create directed tests based upon examination of system software and hardware designs, and develop test tools and methodologies. LAN communications protocols and familiarity with network test equipment required. Familiarity with development environments and UNIX, a strong C background, and experience with scripting or test-generation languages (Perl or TCL) required. Experience with functional testing and protocol testing (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, multicast, MPLS, RSVP, RIPv2) required.

Requirements:
MS EE/CS or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of related experience testing router or switch interfaces from a system. Demonstrated knowledge of software development cycle processes and QA methodologies. Must be detail and task oriented with strong analytical ability.
