Mt Albert Edward

The peak far away on the right is Mt Albert Edward, 2093m high, the 6th highest peak on Vancouver Island. (and the most easily acceesible)

In teh early morning, an almost round moon over the ridge.

A cairn like this one could be essential to mark the trail.

I had to cross this glacier.  Yes, it IS a glacier.  It's about 2 metres thick.  Looks like snow, but it's very solid and hard.

In an open and rocky area like this one, I struggled a lot to find a route, or something that indicates that someone else have hiked through.  I was so excited to see a cairn!

Wild blue huckle berries, a nice treat after 11 hours of tough hike.

I felt this is somehow musical. The steps look like piano keyboard.

And I like the shadow of leaves.
