Stayed in October, 2017.  The cost for 4 nights was CAD $295.11 ( CAD$74 per night).  This is a very high price giving the service provided.

We arrived in the middle of the afternoon.  The inn was classified as "Home Stay", or "民宿" in Chinese.  We didn't realized that until we arrived.  There was no information about it when we were booking online in agoda.com.  The inn is simply a unit in a residential townhouse building, the front door was locked.  We rang the door bell but nobody answered.  Eventually we had to call the contact number.  

The owner answered the phone and said he would come downstairs to open the door for us.  But we waited another 5 minutes, nobody opened the door from inside, until a lady arrived from outside with a scooter.  She opened the door for us and guided us into our room, on the first floor.

(If a guest doesn't have a cellphone with a local number, probably he would not be able to get in at all.)

The room was very small.  The only furniture were two small and short square tables, about 40cm wide.  We had to put our stuff on the floor.  There was no window.  This turned out to be a huge drawback, since we wouldn't know when the sunlight was coming in the morning.  10am was the same as 11pm.

The washroom was shared.  There was no ventilation fan, only a regular fan.  This was a strange setting, since it only blew the smell and moisture around inside the washroom.

There was no housekeeping in the guest room.  The garbage bin hadn't been cleared for our whole 4-night stay.  Towels were not replaced.

There was a lady wearing a Plentiful Inn T-shirt showing up a few times during our stay.  She never greeted guests and always showed an unhappy face.  She even ignored my greeting to her.  It's quite weird.

At night, big cockroaches were crawling in the living room.

There were large couch covers over the sofa in the living room.  The top of the covers was dusty and dirty.  It created a feeling that the living room is not meant to be used.
