This sculpted jewelry box was made out of a fir board, which I got from a retired carpenter for free.

The box was roughly carved with an angle grinder, which a special sanding wheel was installed on. Contour sanding and fine sanding were followed by hand.

The box has a bottom drawer with 3 compartments and top space is divided into 9 compartments. Several coats of water-based polyurethane were applied after light staining.
