People with less education and lower socio-economic status are more likely to be obese.

However, based on the latest 2014 report from OECD (see link below), all education groups have seen an increase in obesity in recent years. In the U.S., for example, the obesity rate in the high education group is even higher than the low education group in Men. At the end of the day, it comes down to healthy eating and physical activity.
