I was reading the ‘Dagen H’ story. What struck me the most is the fact that, most Swedes drove left-hand drive (LHD) vehicles before the ‘H’ day. Can you imagine that?

This of course led to more head-on collisions due to bad visibility to upcoming traffic. No wonder they had to make the changes.

Other countries with left-hand traffic, like Britain, Japan, I guess they don’t have this urgency to change because they drive RHD (right-hand drive) vehicle.
