For those who live up north, now there is a swim school in Aurora, it is called Champion Swimming.  They conduct their swimming lessons in the pool at St. Andrew's College.  I found their swim program to be very good.  Both my daughters go there after learning nothing from programs that run by community centre. The instructors at Champion Swimming know how to tailor their teaching to each individual kids.
