We have been asked to help with the processes involved in hiring a hands-on Chief Accountant to work out of the head office in Mississauga - on the border of Oakville. This position is available because the incumbent's family is moving to the United States.
Our customer is looking to hire a hands-on, proven, Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant to provide daily, online, fuel inventory monitoring, monthly fuel inventory reconciliations, accounting; financial reporting, analysis, government reporting and quarterly and year-end US GAAP reporting for NASDAQ filing.
This position requires the effective management of one General Accountant and reports directly to the President Co-founder. The President Co-founder has formal training and hands-on experience in finance/accounting and computer programming. He ideally wants to hire a Chief Accountant who is self-motivated enough to work mostly autonomously and with a high degree of straightforward honesty during business discussions.
The salary range for this Chief Accountant position is $70,000 to $95,000 plus benefits (including annual financial professional designation fees cost reimbursement) and an opportunity to earn a year-end personal performance based bonus of up to 10%.
