We hire non - Canadian resident ( US residents) sometimes to give us a seminar or speech. We have to deduct 15%income-withholding and submit to CRA based on the fee we pay the speakers.
My question is if we should be do this if we hire the speakers though an agency, which means we pay the service through agency's invoice. Thanks.
