That part of town is predominantly Jewish. I'm just thinking as a non-jew, I wouldn't feel as welcome. Not that I wouldn't be. If you live in a community with one predominant group, the stores and services surrounding will cater more to that particular group. Similar with Indian and Asian (Brampton and Markham). I feel the Thornberry area is more of a mix.
