condescending as well when a man expects a woman to accept him unconditionally. women are always "material" -- it is the law of nature. a smart woman will always either choose an "established" provider, or a provider "to be". the advance of our civilization only refined and sophisticated man's mission as a provider, be it material, physical or emotional, but never eliminated it. a grown man should step back and evaluate his own skill and capacity as a provider, not to criticize the opposite sex's desire and need for security, stability and fulfillment.
