If there are criteria of college admission, race should never be one of them. If certain races feel too few of their kids are admitted by college, they should ask themselves, do they value education in the first place?

The way I see this, race should not be used as the ‘only’ factor, but if two applicants (e.g. one Black, one East Asian) meet equally all other admission requirements, I don’t have problem to go with the Black applicant.

You're describing an "ideal" situation. However, in reality if such criterion exists, it will be used to the maximum.

That’s why the situation is very complicated because people could misuse it, unfortunately this is not unusual when it comes to social issues, there is no easy solution.
