1. the Custom Officer told me last time, once you are laid off, you have only 30 days to find a job or return your home country.
2. Based on my latest experience, right now, it becomes more and more challenge to apply for the TN, well prepared for your job responsibilities ( in such kind of atmosphere), treat it as the job interview, ( original words from Custom Officer), but with English meaning words, ( do not explain too technical as they are not the expert of IT areas)
3. The TN Visa started date can be overlap, you can ask officer to give you old TN I94 for two weeks notice period.
4. Don't overstay, the system keeps every entry, it will mess your future applications.

看官网上说有两种方式：
1，自己去border办，像第一次办TN一样。
（a) 这时还需要学历公证吗? 按理说应该不需要了。
(b) 另外，因为要拿到新TN才回来辞职，公司要求2个星期NOTICE，那么新TN日期是从2个星期后开始吗？还是当天就生效和第一个TN重叠2个星期？
2，新雇主file I-129，这个大约需要2个月，未得到approval之前应该不允许去新公司吧？感觉这个方案不可取。
有办过的大侠能否给介绍一下以上这些细节？

跟第一次办tn 无差别，该带什么带什么。两个tn 日期可以有重叠。一般有效开始日期是当天办理日期
