Ford will produce 50,000 ventilators in Michigan over the next 100 days,

the company announced today. This is the second ventilator partnership the automaker will produce with GE. Production is expected to start the week of April 20 at a Ford plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan, with the capacity to produce 30,000 ventilators per month if needed.

技术上还真的不是太难。如果GE本身已经有了现成的产品和认证，Ford只需要把GE提供的零件组装一下就行了。Ford的工厂本来就是搞装配的，做汽车还是做呼吸机区别不大。 -ttc(O-O); 2020-3-30 (#12814684@0)

而医用级别适用重症的呼吸机（critical care ventilators）医疗公司年产才1万多台，从功能的到零件数量和复杂度都不在一个水平上，价格也要数十万人民币以上。这个估计是没有办法的办法吧，轻中症的能抵挡一阵。FORD说了这种呼吸机连电都不需要，是空气压力的。The devices operate on air pressure without the need for electricity。
