Kindly be advised that this month's bill includes an insert regarding an increase in Delivery charges which are approved by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) and are comprised of three main parts:Customer charge ($45.30 fixed charge per 30 days - this is an increase from the previously $43.31 fixed charge per 30 days as per the insert)Distribution charge (variable charge)Transmission charge (variable charge)The fixed charge is per 30 days, and is calculated based on the number of days you are billed for in the specified period. The variable charges are calculated depending on your electricity consumption (kWh) for the billing period.Since your electricity usage and number of billed days change each month (December 2023 bill was 28 days and January 2024 bill is 33 days, your delivery charge will fluctuate.
