        I hereby submit this letter to support my parents, Mr. XXX and Mrs. YYY, to apply for their visitor visas to Canada. I'd like to invite my parents to Canada to visit my family during Christmas and the Chinese New Year holiday, ideally starting from December 18, 2004.

        As the Senior Consultant of the zzz , my father needs to go back to China for business at the end of February 2005.

        My parents are submitting their application documents along with this letter to your office for processing. As the inviters, my wife and I are willing to submit the official letters from our employers, and our notices of assessment of year 2003 from CCRA, recent 6-month bank statements and latest payroll stubs.

        My wife and I will give FULL financial support for my parents' travel to Canada, including the round-trip tickets, local transportation, food and board, insurance, recreation, and any others that may occur.

        We appreciate your attention to the application and look forward to the good news.

      Could you please answer me three questions, thank you very much in advance:
      1. Why did you provide retirement certification? The guideline of Beijing (English version) said that you only need to provide letter from your parents' company if they are still employed. If they are retired, it looks like they don't need to provide anything?
      2. What's your parents application status for immigration? When did they submit application to Beijing and when did they get request to submit their real passport? They only submitted copy of passport for the application, right?
      3. Relative Relationship Certificate and original pay stubs are not listed in the required materials, right? I assume bank statement includes pay stub information.

      did your parents need to return their passports to embassy? If YES, how will they travel to Canada? Where is the visiting visa attached to? If NO, how will the immigration case proceed? Thanks a lot.

        Could you please tell me that when your parents were requested to provide real passport to Beijing? At the beginning, they only need to provide photocopy of passport, right?
        Because the processing is taking 34 months in Beijing, do you need to make sure the passport is not expired before the extremely long process ends?
