        As the Cultural Volunteer Project Coordinator, I was so glad to hear your voice!

        To be honest, I was only assigned to this position a month ago. What were you concerning is exactly what I am thinking about. And I fully understand your feelings. However, what I need to clarify is that we need to invite the professions to volunteer their time and expertise to be the guest speakers in the training and print out ample handouts for the participants, which costs lot; when you fulfill the commitment, the fee will be refunded; if the participants withdraw anytime, this is the training fee. Furthermore what I am doing is somehow follow the routine in which the former worker did.

        I will consult with my supervisor to discuss these feedbacks from community. And your views and continual support is vital for us!

        By the way, we are going to organize a Volunteer Christmas Party on December 18 (Wednesday) 2002, from 6-8 pm, at University Settlement Recreation Centre, 23 Grange Road, Room B-1, Toronto. Everyone who is interested in volunteer work is very welcome!!!

          Would you please post more about this program? for example, how to apply, the deadline for application, the schedule for the 10 hours every week, etc.
