Job Desciption:
Our client designs and manufactures custom industrial machinery for various industries and they currently have an immediate requirement for a Controls Designer.
As a member of the Controls Development Group you will have the opportunity to work on all phases of new product design from conceptual definition to detail execution. In a team environment with a passion for technology, you will be involved in control system design for prototype machine build and testing, working with mechanical and hydraulic designers, and supporting accelerated product validation testing.
Qualifications:
- Electrical engineering or computer science degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years programming experience for automated machinery or process control and measurement, preferably in a PC based environment with real-time controls
- Minimum 2 years experience in servo system design
- Proven abilities to debug and troubleshoot machinery
