How do you like this gala? What brings you to Canada/an accounting career? What is your outlook on the profession in the current economy? Are you planning on a winter vacation?     本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛首先热烈祝贺新认证的CGA同学们！CGA学习考证看来是个考十八般武艺的艰苦漫长的过程，每个人都应该非常骄傲！恭喜！

    我还想提一个友情提示。找个伴儿，大家一起去晚宴的心情我完全理解，在自己的中国人圈子里首先交流交流，温馨又放松，是个很好的开端。

    CGA这一年难得的机会，不妨也试着＂放眼全场＂，和其它种族的同行交流交流。一来锻炼英语，二来锻炼自己的社交能力，三来也可以铺铺人脉，为以后进一步发展扩展思路。

    中国女性文静淑贤，是好事，但关键时刻最好也要具备良好的社交能力，别在大的场合自始至终受着自己的中国朋友讲中文。一来显得没有场合意识，把一次全行业的庆贺社交活动只是当作一次与中国朋友吃饭聊天的小团体机会，好象当别的人群透明；二来没有必要被别的种族误解，觉得到哪儿中国人都只屑与中国人交流；三来，每出席这样的场和，只要给自己定一个小小的目标：多认识一位有趣的异族同行，多学一项社交礼仪或多学会一项small talk, 多一项观察别人更妥帖的礼仪，才不枉花那个时间精力。

    有几点小小tips, 从个人角度谈一下，欢迎不同意见。学会主动介绍自己，主动介绍自己的人让人觉得以对方为贵，给人好印象，也让别人了解自己，然后再询问别人的情况。我经场看到同胞只问别人名字出处，却没有接着主动介绍自己，可能大家都无意冒犯，但效果总是显得很没礼貌，显得己贵人贱。

    吃东西喝酒意思意思即可，吃饭啥时都有的吃，这样的聚会机会难得，尤其是中国人以外的圈子。吃完了东西再开口说话。我们中国人不讲究吃饭闭起嘴吧吃，我自己经常也忘记，自己圈子没关系，不过到场合上尽量别忘记。喧哗之类的事，我想就不用提醒了。

    尽量避免用全部的时间谈工作，谈考试。想一想自己这个夏天有些什么愉快有趣的事情可以描述分享，避免负面语气态度和观点，使谈话愉快是社交良好的要领。

    提高聆听的技巧，对别人的谈话要有小小echo, 方为礼仪，同意？理解？同感？ 要又所acknowledge, 容易打开顺畅的局面。

    女人衣服，珠宝，孩子，稍谈即可，不宜滔滔不绝，让人以为你的眼界或兴趣就这点。
