As a full-stack developer, you'll work with everything from front-end HTML, CSS and JS to server-side Java and SQL. You’ll be joining a team that is passionate about what we’re doing and the results of what we do can be seen and experienced by the millions of online travel shoppers. You may have even experienced some of our products and technology already while researching vacations or business travel. Requirements Requirements We expect to see 3+ years of development experience building products and services in Java Experience building Java projects on Spring boot framework. Experience using Maven Build automation tool to automate software builds. Have read and know about developing applications on Microservices Architecture Used container framework (Dockers and Kubernetes) to build and deploy microservices Have exposure to building products using AWS services like S3, Lambda and Cloudfront. Solid programming skills and a "get it done" attitude A strong team player mentality and willingness to coach and mentor Junior developers Experience in common backend technologies, including SQL Self-motivated and a good communicator Familiarity with software design patterns Willingness to adapt to different Agile methodologies (ex. DevOps, Kanban variant) and not be bound to “traditional” development methodologies Passionate about technology and pushing the norms We like to see (but not required) Working experience on Linux, Apache, MySQL. Experience working in unit test libraries like JUnit and Spock. A good understanding on how to build responsive applications.
