Finally,

my first-ever batch of mooncakes came out from the oven. They are very small (mold size 50 g), but each of them contains a whole duck egg york and homemade lotus seed - mung bean paste. Their shapes do not look perfect since this set of mold has quality issues. I am going to make bigger size ones by using a different mold for next batch.

        • Thanks for encouragement,
and wish you a very happy mid-autumn festival😁! These are my first experimental runs of making mooncakes. I never made any mooncake before. I would be very happy to invite you to taste my homemade low oil - low sugar - no additives mooncakes, if I started one week earlier to make them, so that I could make more of them before the mid-autumn festival. 😄
