      • Celery will die from the cold eventually. That was what happened with mine last winter.
        • Thanks for your tips. I dug out all of the celeriac. I have tasted its stems for several times before. At the end of season, it's time to taste its root.😁
    • Brought some of them to kitchen before heavier snow comes.

       

       

    • A small surprise from growing garlic: I planted some garlic in a wrong season (June),
      and I didn't find any sprouts or leaves during the whole summer. I thought it had died, so that I didn't take care of it anymore. But I suddenly found it's still alive and the leaves were about 10" long already when I revisited the garden in November. Then I realized I should give garlic more fertilizers even I didn't see its sprouts or leaves.

       

    • Add a note: Picked the last green leaves today except for fine herbs. Test result: the green leaves shrunk due to snow and low temperatures. +1
