A follow-up: Just got my $4000 back!

As I mentioned earlier, Air India cancelled my flight without refund. I contacted them numerous times, by emails, phone calls, online chatting, twitter tweeting... without getting any result.  The customer service of Air India is extremely horrible!

There are several times I got connected with their reps over the phone, after long long wait, however, their voices were cutting off, or no sound at all.  How could that happen?  Seems their call center workers were working from home using poor quality IP phones.

There are also many times the phone calls were dropped suddenly.  Same were the online chatting.  The sessions were cancelled without notice.

In the few occasions that I was able to communicate with someone, I got totally conflicting information.  Just not helpful at all.

I've never experienced anything like those.

Eventually, I had to contact my own credit card company.  I explained the whole story to them and applied for a chargeback, i.e. a reverse of my payment to Air India.  After 3 months finally I got it!  Yeah!
