Companies in the chemicals and fertilizers sector, in general, largely benefited as a strong global economy. however, if the global ecnomy is slowing down due to weak dollar and credit crisis, it will drag the performance of those companies. Agrium and Potash Corporation might be good buys in the long run, since they are resource stocks, but it's only suitable for investors who can accept a fair degree of risk and volatility.
