you can check the histories of TSE index or individual stock on Jul 4 of every year. You also can find from Level II, also American MMs have gone, like Merylin, only Canadian brokers are playing today, like TD, RBS, bMO

just find there are some american MMs playing today, but very little activities. Google shows the American can buy TSX stocks through their OTC market
