How to put stop order in QUESTRADE. which order type to choose - STOP or STOP LIMIT?

US stock can set both, TSX only stop limit allowed.

i was told the STOP LIMIT price must be lower than the price you buy it, right? like I buy NOT at 1/-, today's market price is 1.5/-, my stop limit price has to be below 1/- or any price below $1.5?
