I am CGA, and do not have any experience for SAP. I want to learn some applications in FI/CO so that it is easier to jump into big company. Is it useful? How should I do? Take a course or study by myself? actually I have computer background. Thanks a lot.

SAP FI represent External Accounting --> Legal reporting , tax etc. SAP CO represent Internal Accounting --> Management reporting FA = Fixed Asset , FA is under FI -sapfico(Estelle ); 2010-3-3 (#1085@56)

FI is the area for financial statement generation which includes GL and AR,AP, FA subsidiary ledgers for business transactions processing. CO or management accounting is for business analysis and management decisions by using operating data. So FI is for external reporting while CO is for internal reporting. Hope it is useful.
