● Here:Crude inventories for the week ended May 24 fell by 8.9 million barrels. Analysts expected that inventory levels would be unchanged. Crude prices spike to a gain of 1.5% at $133.10 per barrel after trading down 1.3% to $129.27 just prior to the release.
